This week (18/06/2022) we have a come back race from Alnwick in the North East of England which is around 96 miles back into lower Central Scotland. The 2,462 birds were liberated in a brisk North West wind at 07 30hrs .Full report with Photos here
The winner recorded a velocity of 1270ypm that's 52 ypm in front of the next competition .This is unbelievable flying from such a distance into a head wind.
This brilliant result was recorded by the Super Macaloney partnership.They recorded a truly fantastic team performance with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 9th,11th,13th,18th, 73rd, 75th, 76th, 77th, 78th Open federation from 25 birds entered from a field of 2,462 birds competing.
Their winner named "Top Gun Kittel", he is a Grandson of Kittel & Rossi and is a top performer with already clocking up 1st Open federation 2,462,1st Open federation 5,391,4th Open federation 572 birds,24th Open federation 5,072,31st Open federation 3,447 birds,32nd Open federation 4,250,77th Open federation 3,484 birds.

Tommy Battersby reported on Chapelhall club result 1st & 3rd Martin Miller ,2nd Battersby & Quinn. Martins winner was a Welsh pigeon.
John Hood reported on Chryston club, Andrew McBurnie continues his fine season winning 1st,2nd,3rd club with his winner was bred from a Son of John Hadfield top performance cock 2304 paired to a Herman Cuester from Law & Brady.
Franny Sloan wins another 1st in Airdrie with the nest mate of last week’s winner.Breeding is direct son of Stevie Wonder of Proper Rick and the dam was purchased from John Creagan of Manchester being a Jan Hooymans pigeon.
Tom Corrie wins Clarkston wins Clarkston with a Peter Anderson Vanderabeele lines .
Douglas Telfer reports on Dalziel club winners W & J McFarlane winner,its a 3yr old Blue cock pigeon.This pigeon has a impressive record 1st Ripon 2021,1st club Bubwith 2022,1st club Alnwick 2022. His Sire was bred by the late Sam Brown (Busschaert) and the dam came from England.
Andy Eadie sent some information on his winning pigeons in this years SNFC Upper Heyford race .Bellside lofts Eadie & Kelly 1st, 4th, 6th,15th Lanarkshire Social Circle club. 3rd, 7th,10th, 25th Region E ,143rd, 213th, 236th Open 368 members sent 3,002 birds and 658 birds in west section.
Fantastic team performance ,the first bird Blue cock named "Bellside 72" is no stranger to winning this year alone he was 1st Centre section ,12th Open 169/3484 birds. His two full brothers 5th centre sect ,19th Open 191/4672 birds and another brother 4th centre section 9th Open 193/5072 birds
He had four races this year raced to Melton Mowbray 242 miles on roundabout and paired up for the National .His half sister is our Champion hen Anniversary Coral 1st sect,1st Reg,1st Open SNFC Yeovil 2021 and winner of Titan Games best middle distance pigeon UK winning over £ 7,550 for her efforts and also SHU Celtic Cup and Friendship Cup for the best performance pigeon 2021.
Bellside 72 is bred down from the old Vanderabeele stock hen Silver Z who won a silver award for her Meritorious Performances being 28th,101st ,109th Open SNFC Ypres along with four diplomas from the Inland Nationals also winning over £7,000.

Special mention to my wife Margaret for putting up with me after 45 years and also the downside is my old partner George not being here, his wisdom is sorely missed by pigeon faternity.
